"Thought you guys could use a hand," Poe mumbled, the joke response automatic and barely thought through. It was hard to breathe and harder to think and he just kind of slumped where Finn left him, not able or willing to move.

"Not sure what... think we blew it up? We blew it up, right, buddy?"

BB-8 had dragged itself out of the wreckage, but its chasis was heavily damaged, and it was having to use its magnetic tethers to drag itself over to the pair of them. It let out a mournful but affirmative sound.

"Yeah, you worry too much, buddy, you'll be okay..." His voice wavered, his eyes sliding shut.

Force, he was tired.
