He figured Poe was checking to see if the room was bugged. It was a possibility that flitted through Finn's mind, too, but doubtful seeing as this was a seemingly random hotel. He still managed to relax a little more when Poe apparently deemed it safe.

Finn was happy with smug bravado. It was better than everything else that came before. So he smiled happily and moved closer, flopping on to the bed, too, so that he could curl around... his lover. Husband still? Whatever. They hadn't talked about it all yet, and Finn kind of didn't want to.

So he held Poe tight, resting his head on his shoulder. "I'm glad you were right." He wished he could say that he never doubted Poe but it wouldn't be honest.

Dammit, he needed to ask. He needed to make sure. It all seemed to be okay, they held hands the whole day, but he- It- Okay. Okay, he can just do it in a joking manner or something. That was fine. "You think marriage carries over, too?"
