Then there was that reminder. What Finn felt for all of three minutes (though had believed for his lifetime in a different way, even if he wasn't thinking about it at the moment), Poe felt for months. And said nothing. Done nothing.
He wished Poe had done something. Pushed him to get the tattoo, talked to more about it, something. But, again, Finn knew he wouldn't have done anything either had their positions been reversed. He wasn't angry with Poe. He just... felt so damn guilty about it.
"I'm not going anywhere either. Wish I'd known sooner, but... I'll make it up to you." And because he couldn't let things be: "But you know, I really wanted to hold you, too. The tattoo didn't tell me that." Poe had said the same thing before, but he felt like he needed to get the sentiment out there, too.
