Finn wasn't entirely sure about that. He wished he could get their blessing somehow, to know that he wasn't angering Poe's parents just for existing. But neither of them would ever know, so he'd have to take Poe's word for it.

Not that it was very hard to do, but he only just realized that the thought was going to linger in the back of his mind for a long time yet.

He stared down at the markers, still overwhelmed. "It's an honor to be standing here right now," he said quietly, looking over at Poe. But just words couldn't get it across. He suddenly pulled him into a tight hug. "Thank you."
