The kiss from Poe was sweet, almost unbearably so. He couldn't remember the last time his husband was this happy. Well... he could remember... Her death just felt so long ago now, especially with Rey in his arms once again. A distant memory, perhaps just a story that never really happened at all.
He watched the two of them kiss, his hand weaving through Poe's hair before pulling away and gently touching the flower behind his ear. His heart ached so much with just this one simple act. Even he wasn't sure of the very last time they had done this. Once, long ago, he tried to recall and just found himself in another spiral because he couldn't. He couldn't remember what colors the flowers were or the shape of Rey's smile or-

He leaned up an elbow, too, plucking another purple flower free and gently placing it behind Poe's ear. It probably wouldn't stay long but the vision it made for now constricted his heart with warmth. He placed a gentle kiss to Poe's temple before moving on to press another to Rey's, his smile not dimming for an instant.
