The kiss helped, but only a little. There was a fire under Poe’s skin now, a low burning rage that would not be quenched. The kindling had been heaped over centuries and that tiny spark of concern was setting it ablaze.
What he needed now was war.
“I’m alright,” he murmured. “I can wait.” Even his most righteous anger had never withstood both Finn and Rey at once. He could wait, for her. He knew his husband was more interested in helping him than he was in anything himself, and Poe had always had trouble focusing purely on his own pleasure. Let alone in a situation like this.
But he pressed a hard kiss back to Finn’s lips before he stood up.
“We may as well prepare ourselves to see her world.”
