Rey didn’t think the conversation would end there. If anything, he may need to climb up to keep talking. Or start to yell and attract attention. Then again...could he climb a tree? There was a lot about the other Gods that she didn’t know about.
“It implies that there should be some beauty and functionality to something,” Rey called back, watching Finn with some interest. He wasn’t what she was expecting for the God of the underworld. Or one half of him. He ruled with another, at least that’s what she briefly heard.
“Demeter thinks that...things that are pretty for the sake of it, it’s not enough. I tried to change her mind once, but we butted heads over it. Glad to meet someone who is of a liked mind.” Really, it was. It wasn’t often that her work was recognized by another of her kind. Then again, she rarely interacted with anyone else.
“Yes, it’s important—very important. It would throw off the balance if nothing died or grew again. But...come up if you want. The branches are sturdy enough.”
She made sure of that. Her creations would t fail her, and with proper care, would grow into stronger and bigger plants. Even looking out into the field, there were a few of her creations scattered around. Almost as if she were trying to create a maze in bits and pieces.

“What made you want to come up here?”
