Finn didn't want to leave the hug but he didn't hold Rey to him so tightly anymore either. The close proximity was enough. What he did clench, though, was his letter. There was a fear in the back of his mind of damaging it but the rest of him didn't care. Rey was here now. What did it matter anymore?
"Maybe you'll remember soon," he offered quietly. "Whatever happens, we're here for you. Anything you need." Especially overly long hugs.
Though he hadn't forgotten her scars or anything else over the past 24 hours. She still had a life without them that couldn't be ignored. If only he knew how to begin addressing it.
